At Core Drill Block Ltd, we're all about Kiwi ingenuity. Our story begins with two passionate innovators – Dave and Graham.

Dave Honey: From Panel Beater to Entrepreneur

Back in 2003, Dave Honey, was working on a demolition site in Australia for sometime. He constantly saw risky drilling practices at play, like a contractor using his feet to steady a 200mm core drill bit. He knew there had to be a safer way and set out to create the first Core Drill Block.

Graham Honey: Partnering for Progress

In 2017, Dave joined forces with his brother, Graham, and Core Drill Block Ltd was born. Starting in Graham's garage, they enhanced the block with durable materials and a streamlined setup. Today, it bolts securely to surfaces, guiding core drills for precision without bulky frames or risky footwork.

Building Success: Core Drill Block Today

From their garage, Dave and Graham have grown into a larger facility, with customers worldwide recognising their innovation. Many projects from rail, plumbing, electricians, corporate business have been succesfully completed. Having great feedback from our customers from them being able to give the block to anyone in their team, to get their job done safely, accuratly and effitiently.  The Core Drill Block serves core drillers, construction pros, plumbers, electricians, pool installers, drain layers, and DIYers. 

Dave and Graham are more than makers; they're sought-after core drillers known for accuracy and safety. Their journey led to a Site Safe Safety Innovation Award, confirming their truly special product.
